I. Why We Worship

• God requires it (Hebrews 10:25)
•  Jesus set the example (Luke 4:16-20)

 II. The Object of our Worship

• Receiving from God through Christ, The Holy Spirit and the Living Word
• Kindling- One person's faith kindles another (Romans 1:11-12)
• In Singing, Praying, Testifying and other Christian Sharing
• In Preaching- A method given by God (Acts 13:1-3, Romans 10:13-15)
• In Witnessing (Acts 2:41-47)

 III. Worship in our Giving

• What do we give? A tenth of what has been earned
• How should we give? Systematically and regularly
• Where should we give? Our contributions are to be brought to the meeting place
• An officer who does not tithe should not serve in that office

1. He is robbing the God he serves (Malachi 3:8)
2. His heart is not with God (Matthew 6:21)
